how long should I leave a self pierced lip before putting in a normal stud?
Im getting my lip pierced in a bit. Im using a normal earring stud on both of them (getting snake bites) how long should I leave that piercing in before I put in a proper lip stud?
When i got my lip pierced, the guy told me to wait 4-6 weeks before changing the ring. When i got my monroe done, i just waited for the swelling to go down which was about a week before i changed it, same goes for my second lip peircing.
When you do decide to change it make sure the new stud is clean and clean the area around your peircing with antibacterial soap to limit infection.
