If you want sun, sand and a cocktail in your hand, then Turkey offers an endless amount of options. Historic Escape
Being at the centre of two of history’s greatest empires, the Byzantine and Ottoman, Turkey is a historichot spot. Break your holidays up between visiting the beautiful beaches and discovering ancient cities and ruins. To learn more about the Roman Empire, visit Ephesus, a beautifully preserved Roman city. Gain an amazing insight into the past, which some say is more achievable here than in Rome itself. The city of Troy is an amazing place to visit to get a real taste of history. The centre of the Trojan War, this city is both famous historically and as the focus of Homer’s famous poems, the Iliad and The Odyssey.
