Bamboo coral is different from any other coral you might find around the world. It is harvested from reefs that lie deep in the bottom of the ocean. These aren’t the types of coral reefs that you go snorkeling around in the Caribbean. In fact, they don’t even look like those reefs. As the name suggests, they look like stalks of bamboo. It is fitting then that they are found primarily in the South China Sea.
The coral at the center of this ring has been dyed salmon and measures 18 by 13mm. The oval cabochon sits in a claw setting that is constructed of palladium and polished sterling silver. Orange sapphires sit at four points around the case of the ring and 18 karat yellow vermeil accents appear throughout.
The versatility of silver is perfectly exemplified through all of these stunning jewelry items. You may notice that, despite the fact that they all feature a myriad realm of different colors, the silver still looks perfectly natural.
