Double pierced earlobes: Tacky or cute… [read description]?
Okay, so I’m 18 years old, and I got my ears double pierced a few years ago. They got really infected a few days after I got them pierced and I had to take the earrings out, so they grew together. I’m considering getting it redone.
What do you think of double pierced earlobes? Are they cute or do you think they’re tacky? In my second hole, I plan to always wear a tiny diamond stud. In the main hole, I would wear a pearl or maybe a slightly larger diamond stud. I hardly ever wear dangling earrings, but if I did, it would only be in the main hole, never in the second hole.
I’ve had mine triple pierced for years. Do what you like. My standard earring attire is 3 sets of graduated sterling silver studs (sometimes graduated hoops, but not often)…but I do change the lower set when the mood strikes to (to match my outfit or an occasion).
I also have a cartilege piercing in one ear. It’s your head…put as many holes in it as you like. What others think is irrelevent…it’s not their body.
