Finding Peace in a Troubled World
Finding peace in a troubled world can at first seem like a daunting task. The reason that may be so for you is that you are keeping your focus on the news you’re finding online, the news you’re finding on television and you’ve got your physic ear tuned to the negative events going on about you.
Stop What You’re Doing
Turn off the news and where ever you are walk outdoors. Allow yourself to receive a deep breath. People that have their ears turned toward the negative also don’t tend to breathe correctly. Folks just don’t realize that breathing is essential, and if you’re stressed out, you’re breathing becomes shallow and up in your chest. This is a sure way to get yourself going down the path of “heart attack.”
Your Heart Energy Center
This is where everything happens. It is the center of your being. When people die it is because their heart has quit functioning because of some reason or another. If you keep your “heart” focused on what’s wrong with the world, it will give out on you. It will so, okay, “not a good place to be, let’s exit stage left and we’ll come back when things calm down a little bit.”
If you’re here living on the earth at this time, it’s because you chose to be. This is the E-ticket ride and to garner you sense of peace about everything, you must go within. And that starts with your heart.
As Neale Donald Walsch likes to say, “those who don’t go within go without.”
Life Is Created Inside Out
Life is created for you from the inside out. Without that spark of life, the sperm and the egg don’t fertilize and nothing is created. It is that life force, that god energy, that keeps everything growing and expanding outward.
The place of center, the place of lasting peace can ONLY be found by going within. That is why meditation is such a good practice. Meditating doesn’t mean sitting like a Buddhist monk, chanting and droning on for hours to achieve that state of being.
If you honestly just take ten minutes a day to practice a breathing meditation, you can empower your body towards healing and recenter yourself in that place of peace. The results from just a 10 minute meditation practice can serve you all day long.
