Probably one of the most successful shows, as soon as you hear the theme tune for the X Factor, you know that the great summer holidays are over and its back to the chilly months.

Strictly Come Dancing airs around the same time as the X Factor as the two shows tend to go head to head to battle it out for the most viewers.
X Factor always ends up winning but its a great watch.
Im a Celebrity
By the time Im a celebrity airs, the winter is truly well upon us, most people stay in their homes trying to warm up, while other people are looking forward to Halloween, Firework Night and eventually Christmas.
Big Storylines
You definitely know when the winter is here when soaps start chucking out big story lines to capture viewers.
Soaps tend to take a break during the summer months and then chuck out some great storylines.
It really just goes to show how much the nation has literally become obsessed with TV and just how bad we have all become.
