Basketball Equipment Review: First Team Hydroshot II Basketball Hoop
The First Team Hydroshot II is a premium grade basketball system designed for use poolside. This is a very durable stainless steel adjustable system featuring a 4″ x 4″ post. The Hydro Shot II’s sturdy post and dual strut extension arm combine to make this an extremely hardy unit. Unlike flimsy, plastic offerings, it will never rust. The post to backboard extension for the HydroShot II is 36″ when the rim height is set to 10′. This distance increases as the rim height is lowered. The rim height on the Hydro Shot II can be lowered to 25″ above the mounting surface. Adjusting the HydroShot II is a simple matter of turning the crank handle located behind the post.
The rim height can be adjusted to any level between 10′ and 6’6″. An easy-to-read height indicator forms part of this package. This model’s unique anchor bolt design makes it easy to relocate the HydroShot II if you ever want to. A protective cover hides the anchor bolts from view. This model was designed for use in commercial water parks, and you can get the same quality for your home. The HydroShot II comes with a 36″ x 48″ acrylic backboard and a recreational flex goal. The goal is “direct mounted” to protect the backboard from breaking if players hang off it.
The First Team HYDROSHOT II Adjustable Pool Side Basketball Hoop features a 36″ x 48″ acrylic backboard and recreational flex rim on a 4″ x 4″, 3/16 thick stainless steel pole that is extremely durable and will never rust, so feel free to splash all over this pool-side basketball hoop. This hoop features the First Team EZ-Crank height adjustment mechanism that makes height adjustments easy for adults and children. The rim height adjusts from 10′ to 6′ 6″ in infinite increments, this is assuming that the basketball hoop is installed over a 4 foot deep pool. The unique anchor bolt installation design allows you to remove the basketball hoop and re-install it at your pleasure.
